This policy explains what this website collects and why. It covers the website only. Information you share during clinical care is protected separately under HIPAA and is governed by the Notice of Privacy Practices you receive as a patient.
What this site collects
If you email or call us: we receive whatever you choose to send, at [email protected] or (972) 954-6348. That information is used only to respond to you. It is not sold, rented, or shared for marketing. This site has no contact form and no other way to submit information to us.
If you just browse: our hosting provider and security service record standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This is ordinary server logging, used to keep the site online and defend against abuse.
Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand general traffic patterns, such as how many people visit and which pages they read. This data is aggregated. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
No advertising. This site does not run ads, does not use advertising cookies, and does not share visitor data with ad networks. Visiting a psychiatry website says something private about you, and we do not treat that as something to monetize.
Please do not send clinical details through this website
Email is not a secure channel. Please do not include symptoms, diagnoses, medication details, or other sensitive health information when you write to us. Use email or a phone call to request an appointment or ask a general question, and we will continue the conversation somewhere appropriate.
Third-party services
Links to Headway and Psychology Today lead to services we do not operate. Scheduling and payment handled through Headway are covered by Headway’s own privacy policy. This site does not process payments and does not store patient records.
Retention and your choices
Messages you send are kept for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the inquiry. You may ask us to delete a message you sent by contacting us at the address below. Most browsers let you block or clear cookies, which will stop analytics from recognizing return visits.
This site does not accept public comments and does not offer visitor account registration.
